Difficult to say if I have religious beliefs

That is sort of the basis for agnosticism, we just don’t know

My perspective here, is that those believers who feel abortion is a sin against their god, demonstrate disrespect for that being by denying His freedom to act by affecting the hearts of His children

Difficult to determine if terminating a pregnancy has any moral quality, whatever, if one accepts the omnipotence of a supreme being…

Why would such a being ensoul a fetus?

If souls are His to give or take, a human may not interfere, so the attempt is blasphemy

We can not see the soul of the human making such a decision, and we may not judge, but we must believe that His influence is supreme, or our faith is lacking

Belief concerning a thing I will never be confronted with aside, from a Jewish/Christian perspective, prohibiting abortion acts as a control on the will of God, as that may be a thing He calls a child to do

As with all prohibition

(As with Abraham and Isaac, except that Abraham was not called to carry out the task, as he was a man, and Isaac clearly had a soul)

Traditional male references to the supreme being to highlight the control aspect of institutions, that may act against the control of the supreme being
